Membership Overview
All ARSA membership types except for Corporate are based on location. A company with repair stations/offices in different locations must either establish a membership for each location it wishes to be a member or join as a Corporate Member. Corporate Members are granted all benefits of ARSA membership company-wide (including subsidiaries and multiple locations). All annual membership dues amounts are quoted in U.S. dollars.
Types of Membership
Regular Membership: This is for companies that have a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Repair Station certificate or comparable certification from a non-U.S. civil aviation authority and earn a substantial portion of their revenue from repair station activities.
Note: If your company's primary business is NOT aviation maintenance (for instance, your repair station is part of an airline or manufacturer), you must join as an Associate Member or Corporate Member. See below.
The annual dues for Regular Membership are determined by the total number of employees at the company's location:
1-10 employees: $500
11-25 employees: $1,000
26-50 employees: $1,500
51-200 employees: $2,500
201+ employees: $3,000
Associate Membership: A single location of a company that may or may not hold a Repair Station certificate is eligible for Associate Membership if a substantial portion of its revenue is derived from non-maintenance activities, including the manufacture, sale or distribution of parts or other aviation-related services. OEMs, aviation part dealers, airlines and vendors serving the repair station community usually fall into this category.
Annual dues for Associate Membership: $1,000.00.
Corporate Membership: Any company with one or more constituent parts, divisions or subsidiaries that is eligible for Regular or Associate Membership is also eligible for Corporate Membership. If a company joins as a Corporate Member, all its locations qualify for the benefits of that membership, including access to publications, discounts, etc.
Annual dues for Corporate Membership: $15,000.00.
Individual Membership: This category is for individuals substantially engaged in any aspect of the aviation industry that are self-employed. Individual membership is available only to those who are ineligible for membership in another category. INDEPENDENT, individual self-employed writers, consultants, Airframe and/or Powerplant mechanics, engineers and auditors are examples of people who are eligible for Individual membership. Persons that are employed by companies that are eligible for Regular or Associate membership are not included in this category.
Annual dues for Individual Membership: $250.00.
