FAA Releases Drug and Alcohol Rule Guidance

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on Aug. 15 issued long-awaited guidance on the revamped drug and alcohol (D&A) testing rule. As reported by ARSA last month, the guidance came in multiple parts:

A memorandum to FAA airworthiness and drug abatement inspectors (2.4MB .PDF),

A Guidance Alert to industry (1.4MB .PDF) , and

A set of D&A-related frequently asked questions (FAQs) on the agency's Web site.
