U.S. - Canada MIP Publications
U.S. repair stations must show compliance with the U.S. - Canada Maintenance Implementation Procedures (MIP). To assist repair stations in accomplishing that goal, ARSA has developed two new publications.
NOTE: Based on a repair station’s operations it will need either the Supplement or the Cross-Reference Table, not necessarily both.

Domestic Model Canadian Supplement
This "Model Supplement" is designed for U.S.-based repair stations that are required to have a Supplement. Only those repair stations working on aircraft operated in commercial air service under Canadian Aviation Regulations Part IV or Part VII are required to have an FAA approved supplement. The Supplement provides the special conditions and required procedures to implement the MIP for those repair stations. Repair stations that work on both commercial aircraft and other articles subject to Canadian jurisdiction should review both documents. This will ensure that they fully understand which portions of the MIP apply to the specific product they are maintaining or altering.
The Supplement is available to Members for $250.00 and to Non-members for $500.00.
Domestic Model Canadian Cross-Reference Table with Additional Procedures
The "Model Table" provides additional procedures to be added to your current repair station manual. All U.S.-based repair stations that perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and modifications on any civil aircraft, aircraft engine, propeller, subassembly, appliance, material, part or component under the regulatory authority of the Transport Canada Civil Aviation Directorate (TCCA) are required to comply with certain portions the MIP. This table and the additional procedures provide repair stations with information needed to bring their repair station manual into compliance.
The Cross-Reference Table is available to Members for $50.00 and to Non-members for $100.00.

Based on a repair station’s operations it will need either the Supplement or the Cross-Reference Table, not necessarily both.
Any repair station can use these new models to develop their own Supplement or Cross-Reference Table. A person knowledgeable in Microsoft Word is necessary for customization to your organization.
Upon receipt of payment, ARSA will transmit the publication to you as a Word file attached to an E-mail message. The manual is an electronic file only; no printed material or disk will be sent.
