International Law and Compliance for the Aviation Business

The aviation marketplace is no longer limited by geographic boundaries. Tapping into international markets provides aviation entities an unparalleled opportunity to expand capital and resources, and to improve the “bottom line.” However, with international interaction come new regulations and guidance which can pose unique challenges to a business.

ARSA’s "International Law and Compliance for the Aviation Business," is a course designed to equip your business with the tools necessary to ensure compliance with international regulations and guidance. From Bilateral Agreements to Maintenance Implementation Procedures, the course covers the pertinent regulations and guidance impacting the contemporary international aviation community and offers effective methods to ensure that your business avoids potential violations.

Complying With Part 145

Complying With Part 145 gets you on track to full compliance with the rule. We explain the regulation, the background, the Advisory Circular 145-9 and the FAA Handbook Bulletin that dictates how the FAA will audit repair stations for compliance. This course is critical for supervisors and persons issuing approvals for return to service.

Hazardous Materials Course

The FAA's definition of who is a hazmat employer is very broad and includes practically all repair stations. FAA Order 8300.10 now requires FAA principal inspectors to check your hazmat compliance.

Presented by Washington Aviation Group in conjunction with ARSA, this two-day course for aviation professionals provides the tools you need to successfully navigate the sometimes daunting regulations on shipping hazmat.

International components of Regulation 201 include bilateral agreements, the Joint Aviation Authorities, the emerging European Aviation Safety Agency, the International Civil Aviation Organization and the National Aviation Authorities.

The course provides clear definitions for critical terms, and compares and contrasts pertinent Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) with those of international agencies.

Surviving Audits

ARSA's Surviving Audits course covers certification and performance requirements, your relationships with government and customers, self-audits, preparation, managing and responding to audits.

This course is designed for persons responsible for accepting and responding to audits from customers and national aviation authorities.

The Surviving Audits course deals with differences between regulatory compliance and business requirements, the interface between the repair station, the government and the customer (since all three must work together), and how to respond effectively to audit findings.
